Join the 24 hour Purple Ping Pong-a-thon!

Can we keep purple ping pong balls in the air for 24 hours this weekend?

Teams at the Brighton Table Tennis Club will be giving it a go! They’re going to play ping pong through the day and night to raise money for solar panels.

It’s part of our solar fundraiser in memory of Prince. Prince used to secretly give people solar panels, so to honour his legacy we’re raising money to give solar to six organisations fighting for the causes Prince believed in.

Prince also loved ping pong and apparently he had pretty formidable skills. So what better way to honour his legacy than a 24 hour purple ping pong-a-thon.

Our teams will be playing round the clock - from Friday 3pm until Saturday 3pm (19th-20th May). The players will be wearing purple and playing with purple ping pong balls.

Why not sponsor them today? All the money they raise will go towards solar panels for our six organisations fighting for a better world.

Join the fun!

Everyone is welcome to join in. If you’re nearby, pop in and say hello. You can watch the action, or try your hand with a bat and ball.
