Heat Seekers Quests
If we’re going to tackle climate change, we need to change the way we get our heating. We must rethink how we use heat, and how we can get it from more planet-friendly places.
The trouble is, heat is hard to see - we only notice heat when we’re complaining that we’re too hot or too cold.
But in reality, heat is all around us: in our air, in our ponds and in the ground beneath our feet. What if we could put this clean, cheap, low-carbon heat to good use warming our buildings?
We’ve been running a series of Heatseekers Quests across the country to explore heat in different local areas. Using thermal imaging cameras, we check out potential sources of heat and take a look at the efficiency of buildings nearby.
