Wow! I can hardly believe it, but we've done it! We've raised over £12,500 in nine months thanks to the amazing support we've received from our local community.
Thank you so much to all our wonderful individual donors - you know who you are, and we are so grateful for your very generous donations. Thank you too to the local businesses who have donated and raised money for our solar project - The Grove Arms, Ludwell Stores and BV Dairy - we really appreciate your support.
Our local community has been amazing in helping to hit our fundraising target, from the initial grant from the community fund authorised by Donhead St Mary Parish Council, the donation by the Donhead Digest community magazine, the sum from the 4 Villages Spring Fete, and the gift from the Coronation Drive Street Party. We have been blown away by everyone's generosity.
A special mention must go to our amazing PTA who have organised so many special events to raise money. The team has worked so hard, giving up their time willingly to help us achieve our goal, it would have been impossible without you - thank you so much.
Finally, an extra special thank you to the pupils of Ludwell Primary, who have been absolutely awesome in their enthusiasm and dedication to the Solar Schools project. Without their initial inspiration and constant encouragement and inquisitiveness, the project would never have happened - well done to you, you leave a lasting legacy for the pupils who will follow you through the school in the coming years!
