Video: the magic of Solar Schools

In the last five years, our Solar Schools have raised £720,000 for solar. They've got more than 30,000 pupils involved in renewable energy and installed over 2000 solar panels. Over the next 25 years they'll save nearly 4000 tonnes of CO2.

But Solar Schools has always been about more than just pounds and panels. Ludwell primary, Dorset, and Liss juniors in Hampshire, have shared their solar stories with us. Warning: it's inspiring stuff.

The pupils of Liss loved their solar panels so much, they spent the next year raising money for their Ugandan partner school to get solar too! And at Ludwel, Solar Schools really has sent ripples across the school and the local community.

Bringing the community together, getting people working together as a team, the spirit you get from it - you can’t really put a price on that.
